14th July 2026: As part of its commitment to fostering constructive politics and participatory democracy, Rachnatmak Congress has launched an extensive outreach initiative across Uttarakhand, engaging with civil society leaders, domain experts, environmentalists, academicians, former civil servants, and grassroots organisations. The initiative seeks to build a broad network of individuals and institutions committed to addressing the state’s pressing social, developmental, and environmental challenges through dialogue and collaborative action.
Leading the outreach, Mr. Bhuwan Pathak, Sarthi (Coordinator) of Rachnatmak Congress Uttarakhand, held a series of consultations with prominent members of civil society. These included Mrs. Binita Shah, Treasurer of IMI, Founder & CEO of SARG Vikas Samiti, Secretary of the Sustainable Development Forum Uttarakhand, and a noted bio-dynamic farming expert, as well as Mr. Anil Maikhuri, Founder of the Himalaya Avkash Evam Adhyayan Foundation (HAAF). Discussions also took place with Jagmohan Rautela, Trilochan Bhatt, GK Sathgya, Nirmala Bisht, Vimla Kohli, Raghavendra, and Adv. Chandra, representing diverse organisations working on environmental conservation, women’s empowerment, and social development.
Participants unanimously agreed to join the upcoming programme on 24th July, while also confirming their participation in the “Save the Trees” campaign at Saat Mod on 14th July. A visit to Tehri on 25th July was also finalised to further strengthen local engagement. Mr. Ashish Joshi from the Rachnatmak Congress Headquarters participated in the meetings. These interactions reflect Rachnatmak Congress’s vision of building a collaborative platform that brings together expertise, community leadership, and public participation to advance sustainable development, environmental conservation, and people-centric policymaking in Uttarakhand.
